Handmade clocks in geometric shapes, crafted from wood and metal by Leonie Lacouette. Learn more about the process....

All painting and metal patinas are done by hand and will vary from piece to piece. Patination is a natural process of oxidation that occurs when metals are exposed to the elements. Examples include ancient bronze vessels, copper roofs, rusted iron, and the like. These reactions can be controlled and accelerated using special chemicals, specific temperatures, and other techniques. Patination is different from anodization, which involves electricity, and which you may have seen in other artworks.

We use quartz clock mechanisms which require one or two AA batteries, included when you purchase from us.
